Crane Industry Services LLC and AGC Georgia, based in the USA, have announced new dates for their Crane Safety for Site Management programme.

The two companies will co-host the training sessions on 27 February, 26 June and 3 November 2015.

The training programmes focus on employee responsibility, and how employers and supervisors may be held accountable for decisions made and directions given. Areas covered in the programme include crane selection, meeting OSHA regulations and ASME standards, defining roles and responsibilities of the crew, preparing the work site, process for assembly and disassembly of equipment, load charts, using correct rigging and standard international signalling, working around power lines and creating, documenting and following lift plans.

Crane Safety for Site Management was piloted in Chicago and Atlanta in 2014. For full details see the Crane Industry Services website.
