Niftylift building new plant

14 February 2012

UK access platform manufacturer Niftylift told Access International that it is building a new facility just five miles from its current Milton Keynes site.

The new factory will have the capacity to produce 20000 machines a year, compared to the current maximum levels of 5000 machines.

Expected to be completed early in 2013 the new premises will be able to house more production equipment and an increased number of staff. A spokesman for the company said that at the moment Niftylift's Milton Keynes factory has reached full capacity and although the company does not expect to ramp up production to 20000 next year the capacity will be there to do so in the future.
