Nijdam to speak at APEX/RentEX

Freek Nijdam, chairman and former chief executive officer of Rental Service Corporation (RSC) in the USA, has been confirmed as a speaker at the conference that takes place during the APEX/Rentex exhibitions in Maastricht, The Netherlands, on 22-24 September this year.

Mr Nijdam was at the helm of RSC-the world's second largest equipment rental company-during its successful restructuring over the past three years and is one of the most highly respected rental executives in the industry.

The topic for the presentation has still to be finalised, but Mr Nijdam is well qualified to speak on issues including acquisitions, restructuring, managing rental through IT systems, and also on the role of manufacturers in the rental business. RSC is owned by Atlas Copco. Other speakers confirmed for the conference include US rental consultant Dan Kaplan.
