NTS hires industry expert Joe Turner

US-based National Trench Safety (NTS) has appointed engineer and industry author, Joe Turner to the role of director of engineering, research and product development.

Mr. Turner is the author of Excavation Systems, Planning, Design and Safety, published by McGraw-Hill, providing trench safety information.

He brings to NTS more than 30 years of experience in the construction engineering industry, with 20 years of that time providing site specific engineering plans for the trench and traffic safety industry.

He has founded his own engineering firms, and will continue to operate CER Engineering to provide expert analysis and witness services on a limited basis, outside of his responsibilities with NTS.
