Organisational changes at Manitowoc

A new organisational structure of senior management has been introduced at Manitowoc Cranes, headquartered in the USA.

The team is three senior executives each with global responsibility, reporting to Eric Etchart, Manitowoc Cranes president and general manager.

Larry Weyers is now global executive vice president, responsible for the crane product lines, including engineering, sales and marketing, and Crane Care. Josef Matosevic is executive vice president of operations and procurement, responsible for the operating value stream, including all facilities and procurement activities. Dean Nolden is executive vice president of finance and information systems, responsible for processes and efficiencies.

The reorganisation is a transition from regional management to global product line management, the company said. Supporting it will be a new global sales and marketing organization. It will continue to be structured regionally but managed globally. “As our customers become more global we need to adapt our structure to respond faster to their evolving needs, streamline communications, and manage inventory availability more efficiently,” said Eric Etchart.

The new sales and marketing organisation will be as follows:

Dave Hull, senior vice president global sales and marketing. Hull has a degree in business and accounting from Louisiana State University in the USA and has been at Manitowoc since 1995.

Ingo Schiller, senior vice president rough terrain, boom truck and industrial cranes. Schiller has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia in the USA and has been at Manitowoc since 2008.

Jean-Noel Daguin, senior vice president of tower cranes. Daguin has a bachelor’s degree in business and technology and a master’s degree in information systems and controlling from the University of Rennes in France. He joined Manitowoc in 2001.

John Kennedy, senior vice president crawler cranes. He has a degree in civil engineering from Purdue University in the USA and is licensed in the State of Wisconsin. Kennedy has been at Manitowoc since 1988.

Jens Ennen, senior vice president all terrain and truck cranes. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück, Germany. Ennen joined Manitowoc in 1991.

Raman Joshi has been appointed vice president and general manager for Manitowoc Asia-Pacific. He will report to Dave Hull for all sales and marketing activities and to Joe Matosevic for all relating to operations. Joshi has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Jodhpur, a master’s in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State and an MBA from the University of Michigan, USA. He joined Manitowoc in 2005.

Leaving the company after nine years is Philippe Cohet, executive vice president for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
