At its annual general meeting held in Hohenroda, Germany, the PartnerLIFT rental cooperation group was told that its membership had grown by 30 companies in the last year.

The group now consists of 94 companies, 90 of which are based in Germany; the others based UK and Republic of Ireland. Between them they offer 9000 units for rent 6000 of which are elevated work platforms.

This year's meeting, held on 20 April, was attended by PartnerLIFT's new international member, Easi Uplifts which has facilities in th Republic of Ireland, the UK and, most recently, The Netherlands. Easi UpLifts was represented by its managing director, John Ball who is also the new IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) president.

The meeting discussed the growth of the organisation to include more of Europe and 14 members will cooperate in a "future commission" group

For the first time PartnerLIFT's philosophy was presented in a written form: formulating the rules of cooperation that is by the cooperation and exchange of experience and opinion to be able to serve the customers better and more comprehensively.

The members also enjoyed some short lectures and demonstrations from suppliers and a lively exchange of views

The PartnerLIFT organisation consists of independent construction equipment rental companies which cooperate to cover a wider geographical range. For example: if company A is approached by a customer to provide equipment that is already out on hire or to a location that it is unable to serve, another PartnerLIFT member will be approached to fulfill the order.
