Loader crane specialist, Atlas Cranes UK Ltd is now offering Penz timber cranes for sale in the UK.

Atlas Cranes introduced the Penz range into the UK during September’s APF 2012 - the forestry, woodland and arboriculture show - when Atlas officially became the exclusive distributor of Penz cranes in the UK.

Austria-based Penz is famous for inventing the Z-crane. Atlas will now represent the complete model line-up of Penz timber cranes, which ranges from 4 to 25 tonne metre, including static mounts. The UK company will also offer service and after-sales support.

“This new partnership with Penz represents a natural and logical move for Atlas. By moving into a new market sector, it allows us to use our loader crane experience and expertise to great advantage, and, at the same time, put our nationwide network of more than 30 field service engineers at the disposal of Penz customers,” said Jim Smith, Atlas’s managing director.
