UK-based Phoenix Hire & Sales has boosted its powered access rental fleet with the delivery of multiple Snorkel lifts.

In response to increasing customer demand, Phoenix Hire & Sales expanded its fleet this year with Snorkel S3219E and S3226E electric scissor lifts, and its first compact rough terrain, a S3370RT, and first towable boom lift, a TL37J.

These units join the Snorkel S3010P and Snorkel A46JRT in Phoenix’s fleet. The new models, all manufactured in the UK, were handed over to Phoenix Hire in February by Scott Holtby, area sales manager and Trevor Williamson, after sales support manager of Snorkel UK.

Operating from six branches across Wales, Phoenix Hire & Sales is a leading independent tool hire provider that celebrated 10 years in business during 2018.

Jason Derraven, sales, marketing & IT director, at Phoenix, said, “Our customers have been asking us for an increased range of powered access products in our fleet. We carefully considered this investment, and chose Snorkel as we have been very happy with their products already in our fleet, and we appreciate that they are manufactured right here in the UK.”

Andrew Fishburn, managing director at Snorkel, added, “We are extremely grateful to the team at Phoenix Hire & Sales for their continued business. At Snorkel UK, we like to partner with our customers and we are very pleased to be able to provide their team with sales and technical training to help them to maximise the return on their investment.”
