Plantworx breaks 10,000 barrier

17 May 2013

The first Plantworx equipment exhibition, which was held in Stoneleigh, UK from May 14 – 16, had a total attendance of 11,696 people. According to the organisers, the UK-based Construction Equipment Association, the number of unique visitors came to 9,445 people.

The CEA was keen to stress the high quality of those attending, with 60% of visitors pre-registering for the event.

No announcement has yet been made regarding the next Plantworx exhibition. The CEA is expected to seek feedback from exhibitors following the inaugural event before deciding whether to go ahead with further shows.

If Plantworx is held again, it is likely to be in 2015, to avoid a clash with the Hillhead quarrying show, which will be held from June 24 – 26, 2014 near Buxton, UK.
