Oil & Steel enjoy a positive October 2008

Speaking today (17 October) at SAIE Luigi Fucili, head of the PM Group was very positive about the company- outlook. He said that in the first half of 2008 the Italian PM Group, which includes the truck mount specialist, Oil and Steel, had increased turnover by 10% and that the second part of the year was looking positive.

Mr Fucili said that 2009 and would be a tough year but that by working on synergies within the group and focusing on its relationships with distributors and customers the PM Group expected to grow.

Mr Fucili drew attention to the recent opening of a sales office in Germany which is an important market for the PM Group. The major role of the German office is to strengthen the company-s presence in that market.

Andrea Certo of Oil and Steel said, October 2008 will be remembered by most as the month of the stock exchange fall down and the difficult time for the world economy. For Oil and Steel October 2008 will mean high rates of product development, high rates of market development and the launch of the compact Snake 2010.
