Portakabin designed and supplied a single and double storey facility for Highgate Junior School in London

Portakabin Hire has designed and supplied a temporary school building for the Highgate Junior School in north London. UK. The building is in use for two years while a new facility is under construction.

The UK rental company designed a modular building configured as a single and double storey facility arranged around a landscaped courtyard to provide an additional outdoor space.

The temporary facility includes a reception, 16 general classrooms, two science laboratories, music and practice rooms, library, learning support room, IT suite, staff room, school office, cloakrooms, and toilets with disabled access.

The building is fully equipped with fire and intruder alarm systems, emergency lighting, data communications, two stair pods, and air conditioning to the IT suite and library.

Portakabin also installed a canopy over the central walkway linking the general classrooms block to the specialist classrooms block as well as a canopy over the main entrance timber decking.
