Putting crusher operation in per-Spective
16 March 2017
As crushing plants become more complex, their operation must be kept as simple as possible.
That’s the view of Wirtgen group member Kleemann, which has launched Spective, an intuitive crushing plant control concept.
Spective supports the user at work by guiding them step by step through the startup process, showing a diagram of the entire plant with its adjustable functions, providing further guidance once the desired function is selected and diagnosing any faults that occur during machine operation.
The touch panel, which Kleemann says is not susceptible to dust and is easy to read even in strong sunlight, responds to the touch of fingers, tools, pens or gloves.
“With other control systems, the operator can become so overwhelmed that they can’t operate the machine any more,” said Kleemann’s Mark Hezinger.
“We took the design outside to a productivity expert. The step by step guidance means the system is simple to operate, even for someone who has never done it before. “
Spective is available initially for the Mobicone MCO 11 PRO and the latest impact crushers in the Mobirex MR EVO2 series. The recent launch covers the North American market, with the system to become available in Europe within three months.
