German crane service provider Rech Kranservice has added a new Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 mobile crane to its fleet.

The 200 tonne capacity crane has a 72 metre telescopic boom and was ordered with the VarioBase outrigger system. In addition, it has the LICCON2 control.

Astrid Hietzker, Rech Kranservice managing director, said, “We decided on the LTM 1200-5.1 because its variable supporting base VarioBase enables it to achieve outstanding load capacity values at optimum boom length.”

The new crane is based at the company’s new site in Kaiserslautern. It will primarily be used for handling prefabricated concrete components and erecting tower cranes.
