Rental industry support surges for IAPAs

Rental companies from around the world are sending delegates to the 7th annual International Awards for Powered Access, held the evening of the IPAF Summit on March 26 in Washington, D.C.

The world's most prestigious access industry awards ceremony will be held on at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel located at 1700 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Arlington, VA 22202.

Rental companies that have already registered include United Rentals, NES Rentals, Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., Riwal, Mills Rental - Mills Estruturas e Serviços de Engenharia S.A., Solaris Equipamentos e Serviços Ltda, Nationwide Platforms, Korea Rental Corp., Industrial Access SA, GT Access Ltd. and Ashtead Plant Hire Co Ltd.

The International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA) are jointly organized by KHL’s Access International and Access, Lift & Handlers magazines, and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). The IAPAs celebrate best practice and excellence in the powered access industry, attracting audiences of around 450 each year.

The IPAF Summit, on the same day as the IAPAs, attracts senior representatives from the worldwide access industry to discuss and debate the latest technical, safety and business developments in the sector. The theme of the 2015 Summit is “New Technologies and New Markets."

The speakers for the Summit have also been announced. Frank Nerenhausen, president of JLG, will provide the keynote speech, focusing on emerging technologies and their potential application in the access industry under the title “Gimmicks or the Next Reality." The conference will be held in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish. Attendance at the IPAF Summit conference is free.
