Romania’s National Company for Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) has launched a public tender to select a company to design and carry out construction work on sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Sebes-Turda motorway, according to PMR.

The market research company reported that CNADNR will award the RON2.5 billion (€560 million) contract in September. The EU’s Cohesion Fund will finance 85% of the money, with the remainder coming from Romania’s state budget.

The tender includes the construction of 70km of road for the Sebes-Turda motorway, which is due to be completed in 2016.
