Improving safety and effective training are key components of the 2015 World Crane & Transport Summit (WCTS) in November.

Helping to ensure that everyone leaves work safely at the end of the day should be the aim of all employers and employees. A better safety record will help secure your business for the future. The fifth WCTS, on 4 and 5 November in Amsterdam, Netherlands, will be an opportunity to learn from international safety and training experts. At least six of the presentations over the two-day conference will be focused on these vital topics. Presentations with safety and training as a theme will include:

  • guidance for operators of self-propelled modular transporters
  • proposed operator licence scheme in Europe
  • crane accidents in the wind turbine sector
  • training for heavy lift
  • crane failure investigation techniques from Singapore
  • the particular demands of oil and gas projects.

WCTS 2015 is a major two-day conference and networking event for the world’s crane and special transport industries. It is organised by International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine and the events division of its publisher, KHL Group. Delegates are advised to quickly reserve their place at the conference and book their room at the NH Grand Krasnapolsky hotel. Room availability is limited at the hotel’s special conference rate so book early to get the best price.
