Last month 19 of the UK's leading trade bodies and safety organisations got together to tackle the issue of working at height safety in a collaborative manner.

Presentations and discussions took place at the AIF (Access Industry Forum) Knowledge base at the Safety & Health Exhibition held in Birmingham. The energy and determination to accelerate and achieve the goal of no more working at height accidents was inspired by the moving presentation from Jason Anker, who was himself a victim of a fall from height.

The AIF has now made the presentations and discussions available on-line, together with an extensive work at height video library providing information on best practice and guidance.

Access Industry Forum has been supplying online video free for over a year and now has almost 50 best practice videos available to view. Almost 8000 people have watched the videos and recognise them as a successful method of remaining up to date on issues and topics surrounding the area of working at height.

The presentations from Birmingham and the best practice videos are not only relevant to those working at height in the UK as they address many subjects of universal interest. To see the videos go to www.accessindustryforum.org.uk
