Samoter 2011 attended by 100000 visitors

The organisers of this year's Samoter construction equipment show said the event was attended by over 100000 visitors. The exhibition, which was held from 2 to 6 March in Verona, Italy, also attracted more than 900 exhibitors from 37 different countries.

Veronafiere, which organised the show, said 29% of exhibitors at Samoter came from outside Italy, compared to 12 % of visitors to the exhibition.

"The 28th edition was especially successful given the difficult international economic context," Veronafiere said, adding that safety and sustainability were central focuses at the show.

The Samoter exhibition takes place every three years.
