Dinggui Gao has been appointed president of Sandvik Construction, replacing Thomas Schulz, who left the company in December. Mr Gao previously worked with truck manufacturer Man Group, where he was the company’s executive representative at Sinotruk, its joint venture with China National Heavy Duty Truck Group.

“I look forward to Dinggui Gao joining us at Sandvik. His experience and background are valuable for us, particularly his background within international business environments which are of great significance for Sandvik, being a corporation with a strong global position,” said Sandvik’s president and CEO, Olof Faxander.

Prior to his work with Man, Mr Gao held various positions with Honeywell, Eagle Ottawa and Bosch. The date he will assume his role at Sandvik has yet to be announced.
