The 400 tonne capacity Sany SCC4000 lattice crawler crane with suspended counterweight at the show was sold to the Henan No. 1 Thermal Power Construction Company (HPCC) in Xinjiang Province

Sany has been building crawler cranes since 2002 when it launched a 50 tonne capacity model. Now production is around 50 units a year and demand is increasing for larger models. The range is 50, 250 and 400 tonners at the moment, with 600 and 800 tonners to follow. Also listed are 80, 100, 150, 200 and 320 tonne models.

Sany also offers a four-model range of truck cranes, including 17 and 26 tonners, the latest of which is the new 52 tonne capacity QY52 on four axles which extends the range upwards.
