Scottish expansion for Survey Hire Express

By Helen Wright01 March 2016

UK rental company A-Plant has opened a Survey Hire Express centre in Paisley, Scotland, offering robotic total stations, GPS and machine control equipment.

The company said almost £1 million (€1.3 million) was invested in new equipment for the branch, which will be headed up by service centre manager Stephen Noble.

“Despite being a new location we’ve got a really experienced operation, there is over 60 years’ survey hire experience amongst the team. We have worked for leading manufacturers and suppliers such as Korec, Sitech, Pentax and Leica,” Mr Noble said.

“At Survey Hire Express our biggest advantage over our competitors is that we’ve very much adopted the multi-brand approach, offering our customers a range of brands such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica and Spectra.

“Whatever our customers want we have the survey solution for them, including the latest in 3D machine control systems. We also repair, calibrate and service all makes and models of surveying equipment and we hold a large selection of spares ready to be distributed across Scotland.”

Survey Hire Express now has eight locations across the UK.
