Second half of Airtek goes to Arcomet

Arcomet Group has acquired the second 50% of the shares in Airtek Cranes Ltd from Airtek Safety Ltd. Belgium-based tower crane company Arcomet now owns 100% of UK tower crane rental house Airtek Cranes, which has a fleet of 95 Arcomet tower cranes.

Steve Rooney is appointed managing director of what is now called Arcomet Airtek Cranes Ltd. Stany Philtjens is promoted to operations manager. Other personnel changes at the Arcomet Group are that Graham Baukham has been appointed UK Group managing director and Tony Reeves has been appointed UK Group CFO.

Turnover from the UK division for 2007 is forecast at ∈22 million or about one-sixth of the ∈130 million Arcomet Group worldwide total.
