Senior Google figure to speak at ERA convention

A senior figure at Google will be the special guest speaker at the European Rental Association’s annual convention in Amsterdam on 24-26 June.

Richard Robinson, a London-based director of Google and a senior figure in the ecommerce sector, will discuss digital strategies for businesses and the wider issues surrounding the internet as a new business channel.

Mr Robinson, who will give the closing address to the convention before lunch on Thursday 26 June, adds weight to ERA conference programme, which has the theme ‘The Internet as a Game Changer’.

With 15 years of experience in assisting companies in building brands and developing marketing strategies, Mr Robinson brings extensive digital marketing experience to the event. At Google he helps businesses develop effective digital strategies, and before that was vice president at IDC, the global market intelligence and consulting firm. He is also chair of the IDM Business to Business Marketing Council. (IDM is the UK-based Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing.)
