Skanska to construct Indiana power plant

Skanska USA has signed a US$ 101 million contract to work on construction of a power plant in Indiana, US.

The contract includes structural steel, ductwork, piping and electric cabling. Skanska is currently completing the construction of a pedestrian tunnel on the same campus.

Work will start this month and is expected to complete in July 2015.

The contract will be entered into the order bookings for Skanska USA Civil for the second quarter 2013.
