Italy-based Sky Aces has released the first drawings of its latest model; a truck scissor lift to complement its existing Tunlift 737-500.

The new Fanlift 855-2600, which is nearly ready for market, is designed to be installed with an articulated loader crane on the truck bed. The two machines will complement each other for the installation, replacement and maintenance of large ventilation systems in tunnels.

The platform is up to 5.7 m long, 3.4 m wide and has a maximum working height of up to 8 m. Total load capacity is 2600 Kg, of which 600 kg is intended for operators and installation tools, while the remaining 2000 kg accommodates the ventilation system. It is compulsorily that the ventilation system is located in a dedicated area of the platform during all lifting operations.

The function of the 18 tonne metre rated articulated crane is to lift the ventilation system from the transport trailer and onto the ground.

The Fanlift 855-2600 is undergoing final testing and is expected to be ready for delivery by the end of this month.
