The new TUNLIFT 737-500 from Sky Aces is designed for tunnel maintenance and repair jobs. The machine will be launched at APEX on 14 September.

The Italian manufacturer Sky Aces, which launched its first specialist platform last year, has made two agreements for the distribution of its products in Norway and Austria.

Hybeko will be the Norwegian dealer while Steyr Truck Sales and Services Intenational GmbH will cover the Austrian market.

Hybeko, already a Norweigen distributor and service provider of Genie, Dinolift, Leguan and PB Lifttechnik products, has many years experience in access equipment and said Sky Aces, "A strong coverage of the territory, both in sales and technical assistance, helped by its four branches, several service centres and its own mobile assistance unit fleet."

Considering the terrain in Norway, Hybeko was immediately interested in Sky Aces' products, in particular the TunLift machine designed for tunnel inspection. Hybeko's managing director and company owner, Svein Inge Forland said, "Hybeko has chosen to include TunLift from SkyAces in its range of products because it is an innovative product in a growing market. Norway is a country full of tunnels, both for roads and railways. With an increased focus on efficiency, safety and environment, a need for tailor made solutions on installation and maintenance will arise. As the dealer, we will put our efforts down together with our customers to make this product a success."

Steyr is a leader in the supply of industrial and military vehicles and special equipment. The Austrian company showed particular interest in the design of Sky Aces' TunLift platform. The company thinks it has, "An enormous potential considering the Alpine territory and the particular focus of Steyr in supplying road and highway maintenance equipment and vehicles. Steyr intends to show the TunLift platform at VIATEC 2012, a specialist show for road building and maintenance equipment that will take place in the Innsbruck exhibition centre from 15 to 17 February.
