Skyjack has unveiled three new products at The Rental Show, taking place in Atlanta, USA.

The SJIII 4740 is the tallest DC electric scissor Skyjack has ever produced and boasts a maximum working height of 45.3 ft (13.8 m) and maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs (227 kg), the latest scissor opens up a new class for Skyjack, offering customers more choice.

“Entering into a new scissor class will help fulfil our objective of becoming a full-line product supplier of all types of aerial work platforms,” said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack.

To demonstrate this, Skyjack also launched an articulating boom at the Rental Show – the SJ30 ARJE, which features a working height of 35.6 (10.82 m) and maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs (227 kg). Skyjack’s numbered-and colour-coded wiring system, along with an easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain design are also key features of the machine.

The new TH series of telehandlers was first seen at the World Of Concrete exhibition in Las Vegas earlier this year. On the stand was the SJ1056 TH, a 10000 pound class machine capable of lifting a load to 44 ft.

The SJ1056 TH also features a maximum lift height of 56 ft 3 in (17.1 m), maximum forward reach of 42 ft 6 in (12.95 m), ground clearance of 19 in (48.3 cm). It comes with 74hp Deutz engines as standard and 107hp Deutz engines as an option.
