Skyjack reveals the first pictures of the VR telehandler range acquired from Volvo MHE.

Having completed the acquisition of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment, Skyjack is able to reveal the first VR (variable reach) telehandler in its own livery.

There are four models in the Volvo range with 2727 kg (6000 lb), 3636 (8000lb), and two with 4545 (10000 lb) capacities. The Volvo telehandler range will be sold alongside Skyjack's ZoomBoom telehandlers acquired in August 2007 with the purchase of Carelift, these continue to be marketed under the ZoomBoom name.

Skyjack's president, Ken McDougall said "Over the next several months Skyjack will continue to work closely with the existing dealer networks with a commitment from Volvo to assist us during the transition period.

"We will be moving the assets from their current location in Shippensburg to a yet to be determined site in rapid fashion, in order to bring production online in as timely a manner as possible."
