Snorkel employs central Europe manager

Ralf Hartmann has joined Snorkel as district manager for central Europe.

He will be initially responsible for managing the dealer network in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as developing relationships with the rental industry in the region.

Mr Hartmann will report to Enrique Garcia Delgado, regional sales manager for Europe. Mr Delgado said, “Ralf brings a wealth of experience and a focus upon continuous improvement to Snorkel, which will be key to his success in managing this region.

Born in Aachen in Germany, Ralf has spent most of his career in the forklift industry in technical and sales positions. He spent eight years with forklift giant Crown Equipment Corporation, working his way up to national rental manager for Germany. His most recent role was at Nissan Forklifts.

Mr Hartmann said, “I am very excited to be joining Snorkel as the company enters a new phase of growth. There are many similarities between the aerial work platform and forklift industries, and I am looking forward to bringing my experience to a new product and sector, and helping Snorkel to grow in the key markets of Germany, Switzerland and Austria.”
