Snorkel radiates in Canada
08 August 2013
Canadian Snorkel distributor CSL CanSourceLifts (CSL) hired out the manufacturer's latest boom, the A62JRT, to heating and ventilations company Prairie Metal Industries.
The six-week job saw the 18.8 m platform height booom installing radiant heating panels at the company's new factory.
Kayla Dakin, marketing manager at CSL Group, said: "We supplied the A62JRT because the customer required the platform and jib to be able to go over crane rails at 50 ft.”
The A62JRT provides an up-and-over clearance at 9 m. It also has the largest tri-entry platform in its class, of 2.4 m x 1 m, says the company, and a compact length when stowed for transport of 8.5 m. It also offers zero tail swing.
Engineered for rough terrain, the A62JRT offers 350 mm of ground clearance and 45% gradeability. It has hydrostatic 4WD, combined with an interactive oscillating front axle, which keeps all four tyres in contact with the ground.
