Italian manufacturer Socage debuted three new units at APEX, including the A314 Natural Aerial Transport (NAT), A314 Urban Platform (UP) and T320.

The all-electric A314 NAT features 13.2 m of working height, 6.5 m of outreach and 225 kg of capacity. The unit comes mounted on Italian-manufactured Ecomile TAAM trucks and is equipped with a 96 volt AC electric motor and LI-PO lithium-ion 150Ah battery. The unit has a range of 100 km on a single charge when used on a normal cycle.

Also using the A314 boom is the company's new ultra compact machine, the A314 UP. The unit has similar features to the A314 NAT except it is mounted on a conventionally propelled Piaggio Porter chassis, which is 4.430 m long and 1.58 m wide in transport mode.

Socage also showed its new telescopic T320 mounted on a 3.5t GVW Nissan Cabstar. The T320 is the 20 m working height version of Socage's range of T3 machines which currently include T315, T316 and T318. It features an 11 m outreach, a load capacity of 225 kg and has extendable front outriggers that stay within the vehicle's mirrors, keeping its footprint narrow.

Socage will also exhibit units to North America at the ICUEE show held Oct. 4-6 in Louisville, KY.
