The new Socage A314 has been mounted on an Isuzu D-Max, which, says Italian manufacturer Socage, has been chosen for its efficiency, particularly the performance and reduced consumption of the diesel engines.

The new model, which was first shown at Bauma, will be launched on the market in the next few months, it has already attracted interest from potential customers notably in the United Kingdom and in Spain and also in South America and Africa.

The A314 is available on a Land Rover Defender as well as an Isuzu D-Max, it has a maximum working height of 14 m and a lateral outreach of 6.5 m and a loading capacity of 225 kg.

The boom can rotate 360° and Socage's "Easy Lift" stabilization system is designed to make the machine ready for working in few seconds. All hydraulic and electric connections are housed inside the boom to avoid accidental damage.

Mounted on the Isuzu the operator can use the residual loading space because the pick up maintains its sideboards. The Isuzu D-Max has a turbo diesel engine of 136 hp and full 4-wheel drive traction control.

Socage says the machine is particularly suitable for off-road applications such as the maintenance of electric and phone lines, tree cutting, bridge and noise barriers maintenance.
