Spanish logistics company Amara has taken delivery of two Unic URW-1006 cranes from Unic Cranes dealer Spain Crane International.

The two 10 tonne capacity models from GGR Group have a working radius of 24.3 metres and a lifting height of 30.7 m. The model has a 1.5 tonne pick and carry capacity and configurable outriggers with a safety interlock system for lifting on uneven surfaces. The model measures 2 m wide when in a stowed position. It is fitted with a modern safe load indicator and a high-resolution colour LCD screen.

Amara is a leading company in the distribution of electrical supplies and logistics management with a worldwide network of warehouses and sales offices.

The first job for the two mini cranes will be at an energy provider in the Caribbean. Work for the crawlers will include repair and maintenance of electrical infrastructure networks, a company spokesperson said.
