Stealth approach for MT shears

25 February 2015

Allied Gator has introduced a new tip system for its MT range of mobile shears in the shape of the patented Stealth Tip, which is designed to provide greater piercing performance while lowering operational and maintenance costs.

The new tip is an assembly designed to engage and retain a pair of hard wearing replaceable inserts that are fully weld-maintainable, allowing them to be resurfaced and reused many times. The Stealth Tip does not compromise the integrity of the shear knife because it is an independent weld-on component that can quickly be replaced should damage ever occur.

This feature also allows users the versatility to use the previously standard solid weld-on shear tip that is still available for the MT mobile shear at any time. The new tip system is available for all Allied Gator shears from the MT 15 to the MT 160.
