An LTM 11200-9.1 operated by Van Marwijk Kraanverhuur places a symbolic "M" on the second-highest residential building in the Netherlands

Dutch crane contractor Van Marwijk Kraanverhuur has used a Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 mobile crane to lift a letter ‘M’ onto the roof of the Montevideo building in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The ‘M’ was 8 metres tall and weighed 8 tonnes. It was renovated and painted ready to be placed on top of the 132 m high building in February.

To carry out the lift, the 1,200 tonne capacity LTM 11200-9.1 was configured with a 52.2 m telescopic boom, Y-guy capacity enhancement system and a 108 m luffing lattice jib.
