Topcon acquires Roadware

Topcon Europe Positioning has acquired Netherlands-based Roadware in a business and assets deal.

Roadware, which is located in Apeldoorn, develops "smart" electronics and software aimed at fully automating and controlling road construction equipment and processes.

Ewout Korpershoek, managing director of Topcon Europe Positioning said, "The road construction industry is still in an early stage when it comes to automation. The combination of Roadware and Topcon provides unique, state of the art solutions that offer significant time, material and quality savings for our customers".
