Trackunit acquires competitor

Trackunit GmbH has acquired German telematics provider Dreyer+Timm GmbH. Dreyer+Timm is a well-established telematics company for vehicles, trailers and machines in Europe with 30,000 active licenses.

“We are strengthening our position in the European market for telematics solutions and Dreyer+Timm is the perfect match for our business," said Joergen Raguse, CEO, Trackunit. "Dreyer+Timm has brought together a team of skilled employees, built strong customer relationships and created an attractive complementary product offering. The advanced telematics solutions and knowhow supplements our business and will benefit our customers in the future. Joining forces with Dreyer+Timm supports our vision to maintain a leading position in a fast evolving telematics business."

Dreyer+Timm GmbH will continue its operations in Rotenburg and will gradually move to operate under the Trackunit brand.

Trackunit also recently announced Henrik Skovsby has been appointed chief financial officer for the company. Henrik is a HA, Cand.Merc and HD, Accounting and budget, Organization and Management graduate from the University of Aarhus.

Before joining Trackunit, Skovsby was the CFO of Silkeborg Data A/S.

Skovsby has 17 years of experience as CFO for various companies, including eight years at Stofa A/S, where he also served as executive vice president for five years.

“I have a really good first impression of the employees here," Skovsby said. "The company consists of a lot of dedicated people and I am excited to be part of a great company with a huge potential."
