21 February 2017

The Access Alliance in the UK and Ireland has signed a deal with Trackunit to be the approved supplier of its access control and machine telematics systems.

The alliance is a group of 20 UK and Irish access equipment sales and rental companies with a combined fleet of 9000 units.

Tony Crawford chairman of the alliance, said, "Trackunit already supply part of the group and were in discussion with other members, so it was a logical step as the feedback on their product and service was extremely positive.

“There is a real focus on safety, operator training and competence and Trackunit’s technology which integrates with the IPAF PAL Smartcard system will further enhance that”.

Trackunit UK country manager Mark Smyth added, “It’s great news - we are delighted to bring the Alliance on-board and further cement our position of being the preferred access control partner of choice for the UK MEWP sector”.
