2nd Plantworx construction equipment exhibition will have an expanded transport section

The 2nd Plantworx construction equipment exhibition, hosted by the CEA (Construction Equipment Association), is set to take place from 2nd to 4th June 2015 at its new home at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, Leicestershire, UK.

The 2015 event will once again have a strong focus on construction equipment, truck and trailer manufacturers, tools and equipment accessories and is already 76% sold with 200 companies committed to exhibit, according to the organiser.

The transport section of the show has been expanded for 2015, with both static stands and with live demonstrations.

Plantworx has also teamed up with the HTA (Heavy Transport Association), which is supporting the event and promoting the show to its members.

Members include abnormal load hauliers, truck/trailer manufacturers, route surveyors, permit agents, consultants, abnormal load escorters, ferry owners, infrastructure owners/managers, etc.

“As specialists in the movements of abnormal loads, HTA members are pleased to have the opportunity of visiting the show,” said John Rodell, Chairman, HTA.

“Plants are being constructed on ever increasing scales and that means larger, heavier and even wider components are being manufactured. HTA Members will need to transport larger and heavier structures whilst maintaining strict safety standards.

"This means transport requirements will need updating constantly. HTA members will benefit greatly from the exhibition where construction machinery in real site conditions is to be exhibited.”
