Trojan announces new management positions

Trojan Battery Co. has announced a new COO and vice president of Renewable Energy and New Business Development. Jeff Elder, currently chief financial officer, was promoted to chief operating officer and will be responsible for all departmental functions within the company. Elder has been with Trojan for over three years working most recently with finance, operations and strategic planning.

Bryan Godber, currently Trojan's director of new business development, has been promoted to vice president of Renewable Energy and New Business Development. Godber has been with Trojan for eight years, working for planning and purchasing, customer service and new business development.

"These changes will enable Trojan Battery to expand on the abilities of some proven leaders within our company and allow Trojan to move forward in some new strategic directions," said Rick Godber, chief executive officer for Trojan Battery.

Godber will continue with his role as president and CEO of Trojan.
