Tutor Perini wins California casino contract

Tutor Perini Building has been awarded a US$ 112 million contract by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians for the expansion of the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California.

The project will see the US contractor work on the construction of a 215-room hotel tower that will also include a 20,000-sq-ft pool deck, a parking garage, expansion of the existing gaming floor, and additional food and beverage venues.

Construction will begin in October 2014 with substantial completion anticipated in 2016.
