Sunnybanks’ new T35100L telehandler gets to work

UK independent housebuilder Sunnybanks Homes has purchased a new Bobcat T35100L 10m telehandler from Bridgwater-based Kellands (Plant Sales) Ltd, the authorised dealer for the Bobcat range in southwest England.

The new unit replaces the company’s oldest T3093CD telehandler. Sunnybanks Homes also operates a second T3093CD model, which works on its housing projects in Devon and Cornwall.

“We have been very pleased with the performance of the Bobcat T3093CD telehandlers which have been perfect for the compact sites we are working on. When we came to replace the oldest machine, the excellent track record was obviously a factor, but after a thorough examination of all the makes of this size of telehandler on the market, we chose the Bobcat T35100L model because it offers the feature of frame levelling on the axles, an aspect of the T3093CD that we found very useful. The T35100L model was the largest telehandler we could purchase with this feature in place,” explained Andrew Walsh, construction director at Sunnybanks Homes.

The T35100L telehandler has a lift capacity of 2,500 kg at the maximum lift height of 10.09 m. The lift capacity at the maximum reach of 6.91 m for the T35100L is 600 kg.

The frame levelling system in the T35100L telehandler allows lateral tilt correction as well as a vertical positioning of the boom on rough terrain. For safe frame levelling at any boom angle, two frame-levelling speeds are available.

The new model is also fitted with the Bobcat Aggravating Movements Arrester (AMA) and lateral safety systems as standard.
