UpRight launches its largest ever scissor lift, the diesel X80ND at APEX 2008.

Among the new products at APEX is the first in UpRight's new diesel scissor lift, the X80ND, the largest scissor lift the company has every produced.

The X80ND has a working height of 26 m (85 ft) but is just 1.24 m wide. The height combined with a narrow footprint and a 600 kg lifting capacity makes the X80ND suitable for applications such as fitting out warehouses.

The X80ND is the first in a new range of large deck scissors from UpRight and will be followed by more heavy duty scissor lifts in the rough terrain series.

Richard Tindale, sales & marketing director for UpRight Powered Access, said, "We committed to our distributor network that we would have a much broader diesel scissor lift product offering by the end of 2008. The launch today of the UpRight X80ND is the first step in our fulfilment of that promise."

There will be at least four other new products on the UpRight stand at APEX: a TL34 trailer, a crawler mounted scissor, a bi energy 10m (33ft) scissor and a trailer mounted scissor.
