Versalift UK ETL36-F handover to Access Hire Nationwide.

Versalift UK has delivered the first batch of E6 van mount models to Access Hire Nationwide. The order of eight ETL36-F (E6) platforms, mounted on 3.5 tonne GVW Ford Transits, has been purchased to fulfil a contract.

The new E6 models are built from the ground up and include emergency lowering valves located inside the pedestal within the load area for easier access and maintenance. New stronger, lighter booms mean that an outreach of up to 8.5m can be achieved with the LMC load sensing system. There’s more payload, now more than 300kg and a safe working load of 230kg.

From its base in West Yorkshire, UK, Access Hire Nationwide specialises in van mounted platforms and 4x4 MEWPs, operating the largest fleet of van mounts in the UK, which are supplied on a short term, long term or contract hire basis.

Through 2016, the company made significant capital investment in its fleet and this latest order with Versalift will see all eight of the new ETL 36 models placed on contract hire with a client involved in the facilities maintenance/security sector.

Danny Cooper, divisional managing director – Access, commented, “Our dedicated team have extensive knowledge of the markets we support. The specification of the new models was discussed with our client prior to confirming the order and the technical improvements that have been incorporated.”
