Time International will introduce a new version of its Versalift LAT-38-140-H, now mounted on a Morooka MST 300VD tracked carrier, at Bauma.
Developed in close cooperation with Cautrac, the UK distributor of Morooka, the tracked LAT-38-140-H is capable of accessing worksites inaccessible to the traditional, pickup mounted unit.
The LAT-38-135-H, offers Certified Low Voltage Insulation as standard. It features an articulated lower boom and telescopic upper boom has a working height of 13.3m, platform height of 11.3m, an outreach of 6.1m, 230kg SWL platform capacity.
It will represent one of eight units exhibited at the show from the Light, Medium and HD Range mounted on vans and truck and other chassis. Also, a track mounted Versalift LAT-38-140-H will exhibited at Morooka’s stand.
There will also be upgraded Versalift ETL and ETM series machines on show, designed for Euro 6 regulations and with a more advanced boom limit system for added outreach and cage capacities.
For the ETL series, cage capacity increases to 230kg, while for ETM models it increases to 265kg. Finally, the emergency descent procedure is now safer on the ETL and ETM series as the hydraulic valves have been moved down from the turret to the pedestal for ground level operation.
The 24.2m Versalift VTX-240 is also now available for the Euro 6 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis and supports 220kg, up from 200 kg, in the cage to better support two operators.
The unit, originally unveiled at Bauma 2013, has been slimmed down to accommodate the increase in vehicle weight without compromising stability and safety. Despite the significant weight increase of the Euro 6 chassis, it still has leftover payload to support a 3.5 tonne GVW rating.
