VIDEO: CNH’s Mario Gasparri forecasts 2014 recovery

06 March 2014

After a tough 2013 which saw sales drop, CNH Construction Equipment president Mario Gasparri is cautiously optimistic that this year will herald a recovery for the manufacturer.

Speaking to Helen Wright during the ConExpo-Con/Agg exhibition in Las Vegas, US, Mr Gasparri explained the challenges the company faced last year, and looked ahead to prospects for 2014. He said the company would be focusing on the Asia Pacific region in particular, in the wake of the unwinding of its excavator joint venture with Kobelco.

Mr Gasparri also outlined the company’s commitment to the global construction equipment rental market, and talked about what the manufacturer would be concentrating on in terms of research and development in the coming years.
