Volvo CE names Tomas Kuta as senior vp sales

Tomas Kuta has been appointed senior vice president, sales at Volvo Construction Equipment (CE). He has worked for the company since 1997 and held a variety of senior management roles.

In his new role Tomas will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of Volvo CE’s global sales strategy. He will serve as part of the executive management team and report to company president Martin Weissburg.

Previously, Tomas was vice president global marketing for the company’s articulated hauler business, as well as being head of Russian and Ukrainian dealerships from 2005 to 2008 and president of the global customer support function from 2008 to 2011.

Most recently, Tomas was sales president for the company’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.

Tomas said: “At this exciting time for Volvo CE, I am very energised about this opportunity and look forward to working closely with our dealers to drive forward the company’s product and service offering to our valued customers.”
