Crane and heavy lifting contractor Wasel, in Bergheim, Germany, has added 20 Liebherr mobile cranes to its fleet.

The lifting capacities of the cranes range from 40 to 750 tonnes and they have engines complying with the very latest emissions regulations, the company said.

The order includes a 750 tonne capacity LTM 1750-9.1 wheeled mobile telescopic crane, which will be used to assemble wind turbines, a Wasel spokesperson said.

The two managing directors of Wasel, Matthias and Thomas Wasel, have also signed an order for a Liebherr LG 1750 lattice boom wheeled mobile crane, which will be delivered in the third quarter 2013.

The first of the 20 cranes will be supplied to the contractor during this first quarter.
