Liberty Industrial receive the 2014 World Demolition Award from John Woodward of C&D Consultancy

As well as the various categories that make up the World Demolition Awards, all of which are keenly contested by the companies concerned, there is one extra special award that can’t possibly be entered for in advance.

It’s the World Demolition Award itself.

This is selected by the awards judges as the best of the best from the categories they have scrutinised.

From there an overall winner is selected who will receive the award as the crowning moment of the evening ceremony.

It’s a completely level playing field – it doesn’t matter if the winner has won one of the main awards categories or half a dozen, everyone starts equal.

Look out for the World Demolition Award winner online and in the November-December issue of Demolition & Recycling International magazine.
