Wolffkran offers online configurator

24 February 2009

Tower crane specialist Wolffkran has launched an online tool allowing customers to choose the right crane configuration for their chosen application.

The system allows configuration proposals and comparable cost overviews to be viewed. As a result, construction planning and the decision to rent or buy can be achieved faster and more efficiently, said the company.

Within a few minutes the user can generate a non-binding offer having gone through six stages of the programme. The company's complete range of cranes is available via the configurator. The selection can be made by entering specific data, for example, the required lifting capacity or jib radius, or by entering the crane type. Once the desired hook height and hoisting winch performance is added, the appropriate model is presented within seconds.

"Many of our global customers need detailed information on our products, irrespective of place and working hours and, in turn, a performance and cost solution for their projects. We were the first crane manufacturer to provide detailed crane data online, such as corner loads, central ballast weights or scaled CAD data. The online crane configurator is the direct result of continuous development of our premium customer service," said Klaus Buch, Wolffkran manager responsible for European sales.

The configurator is available in German and English and can be tested by visiting http://krankonfigurator.wolffkran.de/
